Jillian Lux, Ryen Zenner, and Anne Jorgensen were awarded
Fuel Up Prizes for their participation in the program. Anne was awarded
as the February Fuel Up Student of the Month by Mrs. Zenner. Anne always
gives 100% in Fuel Up Activities and PE and she never has an excuse as for why
she can’t participate. She is willing to help encourage friends and
classmates as well.
Jillian and Ryen were awarded by the Idaho Dairy Council
for their participation in the National Oatmeal Breakfast Challenge. They
had to create their own recipes using oatmeal to promote a healthy delicious
breakfast that kids would love. Ryen created “Touchdown Pumpkin Pie
Oatmeal” and Jillian had her Grandpa and Grandma’s help in creating “Breakfast
Oatmeal Cookies”.
There is a new
challenge that will be starting in March and all students at the school will
receive challenge rules and be encouraged to participate. Please help at
home by encouraging them to try out.
